Coastal and marine infrastructure

We regularly work on coastal hazard assessments for development projects around our shoreline. Erosion and inundation risk assessment forms an increasingly large part of this work.

We have engineered sea defence structures for sites struggling with erosion. The support we offer these projects starts with engineering investigation and design, but also includes assistance with consenting and managing contracts for completion of the physical works.

We have completed engineering investigation, structure design and detailed drawings for many jetties, boardwalks and boat-ramps throughout Northland. Our region’s sought-after coastal setting sees us working with clients wanting to develop the full range of these structures – from more simplistic designs right the way through to more complex, high-quality, exotic hardwood structures.

We’re also a frequent supplier to the New Zealand marina industry. This relationship and our experience in this specialist environment ensures that we are regularly involved with marina projects, and pontoon and piling work, throughout New Zealand and across the Pacific Islands.
