Chartered Professional Engineers are experienced, seasoned professionals who have been assessed by Engineering New Zealand as meeting particularly high standards of competence. They are certified to deal with complex engineering problems requiring expert technical knowledge and must be reassessed at least every six years to maintain their CPEng and/or CMEngNZ status.
There are many different types of engineers so it’s crucial that you select an engineering firm with proven technical competence to guide the development of your project. Engineering NZ has tested independently our Chartered Professional Engineers’ competence in the practice areas of transportation, civil, structural, environmental and geotechnical engineering. Our Certified Environmental Practitioner ensures that the specialist area of contaminated land is also covered within the Haigh Workman portfolio of services.
