Senior Geotechnical Engineers

Looking for a change?  Want an opportunity to work out of Auckland city, but still be within commuting distance if that is your home base? Then come and join our friendly team in one of our offices – Kerikeri, Whangarei or Warkworth.

We are looking for an extraordinary Senior Geotechnical Engineer (with CPEng) to provide technical expertise on geotechnical investigations, analysis, design and reporting for foundations, retaining walls, slip repair, infrastructure and remediation work. Opportunity to work on exciting new projects.

 

You would need to have:

  • BE qualification (Washington Accord)
  • 5+ years experience (preferably within New Zealand)
  • CPEng accreditation or close to achieving
  • Proven technical proficiency in Geotechnical Engineering, including in the use of  programmes such as WALLAP and Slide.
  • Have excellent computer, report writing and communication skills.

Senior Structural Engineer

Are you looking for a lifestyle change and wanting to still progress your engineering career? Haigh Workman are looking for Expressions of Interest from a versatile and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to undertake some exciting existing and new projects. Project examples include designing bridges, ongoing design of housing projects and seismic assessments for a number of commercial premises.

 

To fit this role you will need 5+ years New Zealand experience, have your CPEng certification or be close to achieving it and be able to work independently on projects from inception to completion. 

 

You would need to be able to:

  • Place a high value on providing excellent customer service
  • Be professional and have a strong work ethic
  • Demonstrate an enthusiastic and positive attitude
  • Work in an office environment, but be physically fit for site investigation work
  • Have good computer skills including CAD design software and MS Office Suite
  • Have good report writing skills

Senior Civil Engineer

Haigh Workman are looking for Expressions of Interest from a versatile Senior Civil Engineer interested in joining their Civil team.  We are always on the lookout for smart, motivated engineers to work on a wide range of land and marine projects, particularly in three waters engineering and design, plus contract management, detailing and construction monitoring

To fit this role you will need 8+ years New Zealand experience and be able to work independently on projects from inception to completion.

 

It is preferable that you have:

  • BE qualification (Washington Accord)
  • Minimum 3 years experience (preferably within New Zealand)
  • CPEng accreditation (or on track to achieving)
  • Have excellent computer, report writing and communication skills
  • Must be NZ based

You would need to be able to:

  • Place a high value on providing excellent customer service
  • Be professional and have a strong work ethic
  • Demonstrate an enthusiastic and positive attitude
  • Work in an office environment but be physically fit for site investigation work
  • Have good computer skills
  • Have excellent report writing skills
